Have you noticed that severe weather seems a bit more…severe lately? That’s because it is 🌩️ Scientists have noted that there’s been an uptick in record-setting extreme weather. While there’s no way to protect all of your assets in the case of a storm, you can still be prepared. Here are 4 tips: ☂️ Opt-in to local weather notifications. Even with your phone on silent or “do not disturb,” weather alerts will still push through. ☂️ Know where you will go. Once you get that alert, you may have just minutes to get to safety. Ensure everyone in your home knows where that is. ☂️ Secure untethered outdoor items. Porch furniture, grills, umbrellas, etc. should be placed securely inside a garage or other shelter. ☂️ Hire a tree service to identify dangerous trees. In particular, unhealthy trees can cause significant damage during a storm. Stay safe, and as always, let us know if you need anything!
