Great use of technology
🔦SPOTLIGHT🔦 - Each week we showcase one of our rental products Digital namesigns save time and manual labor by replacing paper nameplates. Thanks to the E Ink technology for optimal legibility and minimal eye strain, it allows for crisp text with high contrast and a maximum viewing angle (180°). E Ink also guarantees minimal power consumption, and the information on the display can be retained if the nameplate is powered off. Finally, the namesign display eliminates reflection and flicker, even when filmed or broadcast. Participants can also request to speak with a button at the base and see an indication of the status through a LED strip on top.

If your parents' or grandparents’ slides are stored in the original bulky projector trays in the top of the hall closet, they take up so much room! Believe me, I've been there! When I received my grandparent’s slides, they were in 2 suitcases. The paper slide boxes were dusty and musty. They were not something I wanted to hold on to. After scanning the slides, I removed them from these trays and put them in an archival-quality slide storage box. Now instead of taking up the space of two medium-sized suitcases, they are in a box the size of a boot box. I've also done a similar project with my mom and dad’s slides and have rescued them from bundles wrapped in rubber bands and stuffed into plastic bags. They now live in their own archival slide storage box as well. Wouldn’t you like to reclaim some of your storage space? If you have slides that need to be digitized and safely stored, let's talk! DM us or drop us a line at info@goodlifephotosolutions.com Read more about the importance of scanning your slides on our blog. https://lnkd.in/ghvSAnac

Four key strategies for the child-proof design: 1. Two-step operation like Push-and-Twist or Squeeze-and-Turn Mechanism. 2. Turn-Lock or Click-Lock System where the pump needs to be pushed down and clicked into place to lock it, and clicked again to unlock 3. Resistance Feature with Increased Torque Requirement which requires more force to twist or push, making it difficult for children to operate 4. Visual and Tactile Indicators such as arrows or color changes or Adding textured grips to guide adults on how to unlock the pump.

📩 3 Historical Fun Facts about Envelopes: 1. Envelopes were handmade until 1840, when Englishman George Wilson invented a process in which envelope patterns were tiled over long sheets of paper. This made it easier for users to cut and assemble their own envelopes with more precision and less paper waste. 2. Window envelopes, in which a see-through panel allows the address on the letter to be visible to outside viewers, were invented by Americus F. Callahan of Chicago, Illinois. He patented his idea in 1902. 3. Envelopes use to have four symmetrical flaps that met in the exact middle of the letter so that they could be closed and secured by a single wax seal. #envelopesmatter #directmarketing 📨
