Personal Style Expert | Guiding You to Elevate Your Personal Style & Brand Presence | FAB Business Club Founder | Be Bold, Be Seen, Transform Your Reach & Results by Dressing for JOY!
PROUDLY MARMITE Imagine this.. 🦩You are part of a community of business buddies where everyone gets it. 🦩A club where everyone has earned their stripes but no one pulls rank. 🦩A safe space where you can open up and say how you feel without judgement. 🦩A sisterhood where you can laugh, cry, learn and grow. 🦩Somewhere you feel included and your wins are celebrated. 🦩A community of likeminded, heart centred women in business who are there for each other for the good times and the bad. 🦩A membership where the collective wisdom tots up to hundreds of years and advice shared unconditionally. Sounds good, yeah? It is. It’s what it’s like for the FAB Business Club members. It’s quite difficult to put into words *exactly* what is different about FAB, it’s easy to highlight what it’s *not* like compared to other networks you might have been part of. That’s why we invite you to visit for free in the first instance. It then becomes a self selecting process. No hard sell or convincing you to join. It’s either a “hell yeah” I’m in or it’s not right for you, no hard feelings. We are proudly Marmite. We’ve all felt like a square peg in a round hole at some point so all us square pegs have come together. We’ve got an online meeting Thursday 28th March, 11am-1pm and I have a few spaces to giveaway to square pegs. Comment for the link and I’ll send you a complimentary Golden Ticket. 🦩 What else would you add to my list regarding a great community for women in business to hang out? #Bemoreyou #community #womeninbusiness #personalbranding

Ahhh. Today marks the final TWO WEEKS of ticket sales before our big day! (ticket sales close Wednesday 5/8) On Friday May 10th at Music Hall A few FAQ if I dare: 1. Are you sold out? No, we’ve got about 100 seats left, less than 25 VIP seats. Ticket sales close in TWO WEEKS. We expect to sell out and have 650 gathered! 2. Who’s speaking? We will have over 35 women on stage (with a few surprises 😭) including our keynote Rachel Cargle 3. What’s the theme? Community, connection, conversation. Worth. Strength & resilience, living happily. There’s no real theme but these words feel right 4. What is it? It’s a one day women’s empowerment summit whose mission is to create a safe space for women to be seen, heard & loved in. 5. Who’s it for? For me it’s for women, all women. And we see it on our stage & audience. We will have 42% diversity in our speakers. Audience will be filled the same, corporate, entrepreneurs, stay at home moms, students, retirees. It’s special. Power to Pursue, I am proud of you. The impact you’ve had in such a short time, we are just getting started. Let’s go! Snag your seat: https://lnkd.in/g8xVC5zZ

Happy International Women's Day! I celebrated by heading to another great NewyTechPeople and Coded Diversity event for Dress for Success NSW & ACT! Elena Scifleet's presentation was a practical guide on the role everyday technology can play in coercive control and how to deal with it. The tips in the presentation were simple and practical and achievable for most people, and generally helpful for everyone to keep themselves safe online. Top Tips: -Make long passwords -When you change a password, change it twice -Use multi-factor authentication -Be mindful of what images you share online A good litmus test Elena shared with us: if you wouldn't print it out and stick it on your property, don't put it online. Bonus: I scored a ticket to the /NEW conference happening in May in the silent auction, with all proceeds going to Dress for Success. If you work in tech and haven't purchased a ticket yet, get on that!
