Photographing people, places, creators & makers. Story telling photography, helping you and your brand show up 🦹🏼♀️
🌟Be seen🌟 🌿✨ Embracing Nature: Yasemin’s Landscape Architecture 📸🌺 Yasemin Ozkan-Shires I loved photographing Yasemin in autumn (when the sun was still out), we were able to have a wander round and she showed explained to me how she begins the creative process of designing a garden. Wow, far more technical than I could ever have imagined-Just like a skilled portrait 📸 photographer captures the essence of a person, Yasemin skillfully captures the spirit of each garden 🪴. Each project is a masterpiece, a testament to her passion for creating outdoor sanctuaries that breathe life into every space. I do love my job and getting to meet so many different people. And learning lots of things about different industries. I especially love to photograph the people who think they’ll hate having their portrait taken (errr like nearly everyone)! It’s never as bad as they think and it has such a huge impact on how their brand is viewed. It’s simple really though, if you’ve got professional pictures you’ll be viewed as being a professional business 🙋🏼♀️ so put your fears aside and go for it! \#CaptureTheMoment #PortraitsOfLife #CreativePortraits #TheArtOfPortrait #PortraitPage #VisualStorytelling #PhotographyArt #LandscapeArchitecture #OutdoorDesign #BespokeLandscapes #GardenArtistry #GreenSpaces #NatureInDesign #SustainableLandscapes #LandscapeInspiration #TransformingOutdoors #GardenDesign

Real estate photography isn't always about capturing the pristine and perfect. Sometimes, it's about telling the full story of a property, warts and all. 🏚️ Here's a glimpse inside a derelict bathroom I found within an active construction site. In this case, the story includes several thousand square feet of historic brick and mortar that's yet to be restored, with two progressive new builds just on the other side of the wall. 🏗️📸 #RealEstatePhotography #BehindTheLens #PropertyStory"

Out in hard light, it's all about lines and shapes. Patterns and contrast make the composition. When making a photograph of a building, these are the details you hunt for. They may not be the hero shot on your website, but they create interest in a supporting role. #architecture #blackandwhitephotography #photography #architecturalphotography #one27photo

Being near water has a positive impact on both physical and mental well-being. Here are some ways in which proximity to water can benefit health: Reduced Stress and Improved Mental Health: Spending time near water has been shown to reduce stress hormones and slow down heart rate, leading to improved mental health 1. The calming effect of water can help alleviate anxiety and promote relaxation. 2.Physical Activity and Fitness: Being near water encourages physical activity. Whether it’s swimming, surfing, or simply walking along the shore, water-related activities promote general fitness and reduce the risk of diseases associated with obesity1. 3.Vitamin D Exposure: Sunlight reflecting off water provides a natural source of vitamin D. Adequate vitamin D levels are essential for bone health, immune function, and overall well-being. 4.Better Social Relations: Water environments often attract people, providing opportunities for social interactions. Whether it’s a beach outing, fishing trip, or kayaking adventure, these shared experiences can enhance social connections and boost happiness. Blue Space vs. Green Space: While green spaces (such as parks and woodlands) are well-known for their health benefits, “blue spaces” (including the sea, rivers, lakes, and waterfalls) are equally important. In fact, marine and coastal areas have been found to be some of the happiest locations, surpassing continuous urban environments. In summary, spending time near water promotes physical activity, reduces stress, and positively impacts mental well-being. So, if you have the opportunity, consider taking a stroll by the water or enjoying a day at the beach – your body and mind will thank you! 🌊🌞 #haworth #knowledge #wellbeing #waterelements #biophilia
Something about water and art together is immediately soothing, calming and at the same time a little edgy. Just like how we like it. 📸: Shira Barzilay #art #design #architecture #pool #creative #vacation #photography
