Hi All! 🙂 A few weeks ago, I wrapped up my internship at Electronic Arts (EA)’s EA SPORTS studio, and I’m excited to share a recap of my experience. 🎮 It feels like just yesterday that I had the opportunity to visit EA Headquarters at Redwood Shores for the Intern Early Access event, yet three months have flown by, immersing me in the world of game development. One of the highlights of my internship was traveling to the Orlando studio in late June, where I met most of my team—the Madden and College Football Infrastructure team—in person. This invaluable experience coincided with visits from team members in Madrid and South Florida, allowing us to engage in insightful brainstorming, planning, and recap meetings. They say a team can make or break your experience in the workforce, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to guide me through my first professional experience in software engineering. During my internship, I made it a priority to grow my network by connecting with professionals across various teams at EA, including American Football, other Sports, Respawn, and PopCap. I also took full advantage of EA’s learning resources, which led me to earn a certification in AWS’s S3 tool. In addition to my regular tasks with the team, I successfully delivered all the planned features for my intern project—a web application named 'Dungeon Keeper' aimed at streamlining the developer kit ownership process for developers in the studio—along with some stretch features. I’m especially proud of this project and had the opportunity to showcase it at our intern fair! 🎉 A big thank you to the Next Gen Talent team—Michelle Gonzalez, M.B.A., SHRM-CP, Jake Rodriguez, Adetola Egbeleye, Stephanie Thompson, Raghib Tyler, and Michael Lee—who supported me throughout this journey.  And a special shoutout to some of the amazing interns I connected with, including Lenaoria Guerin, Rebeca Hefferan, Nicole Franco, Jessica Flores, Valerio Bianco, Tyra Foster, Ava Noelle Johnson, Niya Traynham, Carlos Pinto Jimenez, Ahad Ali, and Amish Gupta. You all rock, and I can’t wait to see what you accomplish in the future! 🚀 I’m deeply thankful for this experience and look forward to staying in touch with everyone I met here moving forward! #EA #EASports #Madden #CollegeFootball25 #SummerInternship #SWE
