If because of hardship you eat your seed as your harvest, you may only have and enjoy a momentary relief from the hardship, but you have ended up truncating your future harvests and empowering the hardship. Your seed is not your harvest. Your seed is your hope for tomorrow. Today's planted seeds are tomorrow's harvests. There is no future where there are no seeds. Seeds are akin to investable capital. No wonder it is called "Seed Capital" One of the things that a good and diligent farmer protects and preserves is his seedlings. Therefore, regardless of what you go through in life, never perceive your seeds to be your harvest, let alone eat them. I have concern for grain bin engulfment's- Lowest grain prices since 2020, current conditions look favorable for a sizeable crop coming, US farmers are holding more grain on the farm today than any other time in US history and lastly, harvest starts in 2 months. All of these conditions can create unwise and quick decisions that can lead to trouble.
