This past weekend, I had the pleasure of watching *Inside Out 2* with my 14-year-old daughter and family. It was a fantastic film that not only entertained us but also provided valuable insights into the emotional changes that come with growing up. Awesome feedback from our Strategy Day this week! "Its been so productive; it's a gamer changer for me. I'm totally buzzing." Rest assured I get as much of a buzz out of delivering these Strategy Days and Retreats as the delegates do. I love watching them transform before my eyes ❤️ What I learned is that the two day retreats can go even deeper and with bigger 'Aha' moments for delegates. After day one, delegates are full of ideas and getting their heads around what's going to work best for their business (including what to do now and what to map out for later), but it's after some downtime and coming back to the strategy document that we go deeper with some 1-2-1 sessions, where the details are added and delegates leave with an action plan to implement and clear vision for their business, as well as the tools to do it!

I had the joy of speaking with John Dierker at Velox yesterday. He runs "Happy Half Hours" every 2 weeks with their remote teams (~15 people) They built a culture of trust through conversations, discussions and storytelling through taking turns answering AskClass questions on Zoom. Tools don't create culture, leadership does. The difference was not just because they used AskClass, but because they designed their meetings to intentionally spend time getting to know one another and truly care for them. The tool just made it easier to have every team member speak up and share who they are as a human being. He has 3 ground rules: 1) Everyone is going to speak, taking turns 2) Everyone gets 1 free pass 3) Don't talk about work. Looking back on September and sharing a fun behind-the-scenes (or should I say, backstage) event! As a growing promotion company, this client realized the need to establish formal processes to help operate more efficiently and embrace growth. We're working together to formalize and standardize their processes, and in this case I got to see the live show production and settlement process firsthand. It brought me back to my college days of helping setup Springfest concerts at #Northeastern!
