New York cannabis... cultivators and processors taking on cannabis-related real estate loans from what are self-evidently predatory lenders exploiting limited access to the capital markets. Those onerous terms, high interest rates, and collateral/security are by design. With the coming crash in wholesale prices of mid-market product due to MSOs flooding the market with loss-making product, you simply can't compete. You are quite literally going to lose the farm, and that is by design. All of this when schedule III is going to open up the market to less predatory capital. What a situation.
