It is deeply saddening to hear about the tragic loss of a life due to work pressure. Many of us have experienced the overwhelming demands of a hectic work life, often at the expense of our physical and mental well-being. I, too, have faced similar challenges in the past. During a critical business period, I worked 16-18 hours a day, navigating a difficult environment created by poor leadership. A senior manager with little technical expertise made decisions without consulting the right people, which led to unnecessary stress and a toxic work environment. This affected my health significantly, as I pushed myself beyond my limits. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated case. Regardless of the industry or the company, such environments take a toll on individuals. We must advocate for healthier work cultures where growth, empathy, and work-life balance are prioritized. No one should have to sacrifice their health or well-being for professional success.
Such a SHAME 💔 saying it for the nth time — no company is worth your life or your mental health. You will be replaced in a second and there is zero respect to your time and your life!
