September 11th marks a solemn anniversary, a day etched in our nation's history. It was a day of immense sorrow, a day that tested our resolve as a nation. In the face of unimaginable tragedy, Americans came together, united in grief and determination. Twenty-three years later, the echoes of that day still resonate. The scars remain, a constant reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment. As a deeply divided nation, the 9/11 Remembrance offers a powerful opportunity for reflection and unity. It serves as a stark contrast to the partisan battles that often consume our discourse. Let us remember the victims, their families, and the heroes who risked their lives to save others. Let us honor their memory by striving for a more compassionate and understanding society. Let us recommit ourselves to the values that make America great: freedom, justice, and the unwavering belief in the inherent dignity of every human being. May the 9/11 Remembrance inspire us to bridge our differences, to find common ground, and to work together towards a brighter future for all. #patriotday #neverforget #9/11 #september11 Colorado Springs Hispanic Business Council - The Hispanic Chamber The Adelante Leadership Institute United States Air Force Academy Randy Helms

The legacy of FDR's Civilian Conservation Corps lives on through The Corps Network (TCN), providing environmental justice and economic mobility for 25,000 young adults and veterans each year. TCN's commitment to racial equity began at the grassroots level, leading to the launch of the Moving Forward Initiative in 2017. Key benefits of this initiative include: - A deeper understanding of structural racism and unconscious bias - Rethinking post-service opportunities for Corpsmembers - Formal investments in racial equity programming - Creation of advisory councils to prioritize Corpsmembers’ experiences Navigating a network of 139 organizations, TCN's approach demonstrates how complex networks can engage in meaningful racial equity conversations. In Memory of 9/11: Honoring Lives Lost September 11, 2001, is a date forever etched in the fabric of American history. On that fateful day, nearly 3,000 innocent lives were lost in a series of coordinated terrorist attacks that targeted the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and an intended target that was thwarted by brave passengers on United Airlines Flight 93. The tragedy not only shattered families but also left an indelible mark on the collective consciousness of a nation and the world. As we reflect on the events of that day, we are reminded of the profound heroism displayed by first responders, firefighters, police officers, and ordinary citizens who rushed to help amidst chaos and destruction. Their selflessness exemplified the spirit of unity and resilience that emerged in the wake of such darkness. Memorials and ceremonies held annually serve as poignant reminders of the loss and the heroes who emerged from it, ensuring that the stories of those who perished are never forgotten. In the years since 9/11, the world has witnessed significant changes—both in security and international relations. Yet, the impact of that day remains a somber reminder of the fragility of peace and the importance of solidarity. As we gather to remember, we honour not just the victims but also the families left to navigate life without their loved ones. Their grief is a testament to the human spirit’s capacity to endure and heal, and it calls upon us to foster compassion and understanding in a world often marked by division. We must also recognize the ongoing legacy of 9/11 in shaping policies and attitudes towards national security, immigration, and global conflict. It has sparked conversations about tolerance, diversity, and the need for dialogue across cultures. By remembering the past, we can strive to create a future where such tragedy is not repeated, and where love triumphs over hate. On this solemn occasion, let us pause to reflect, to honour , and to remember. As we pay tribute to the nearly 3,000 lives lost, we also commit ourselves to nurturing a world where peace, understanding, and humanity prevail. In remembrance lies the power to inspire change and to cultivate resilience in our communities, ensuring that the legacy of those we lost continues to shine brightly in our hearts and actions.

Save 📌 and Share with 3 people in your network 👥 🌟 Honoring Memorial Day and Securing Your Legacy 🌟 As we commemorate Memorial Day, we pay tribute to the courageous men and women who have sacrificed their lives to protect our freedoms. Their dedication inspires us to reflect on the values they fought to defend: freedom, family, and the future. In honoring their legacy, it's also a time to consider how we can protect and provide for our own families. One essential way to do this is by ensuring you have a comprehensive estate plan that includes a trust. 📜✨ 🔹 Why is a Trust Important? 1. Control and Flexibility: Dictate how and when your assets are distributed. 2. Privacy: Keep your estate matters private and out of public records. 3. Protection: Safeguard your loved ones from creditors and legal disputes. 4. Tax Benefits: Optimize tax advantages and reduce estate tax burdens. 5. Continuity and Stability: Ensure a seamless transition and preserve family harmony. This Memorial Day, as we remember those who have given their all, let’s also take steps to protect our own legacies. A well-crafted trust can provide peace of mind and security for your loved ones, ensuring your wishes are honored and your family is cared for.
