As parents, educators, or professionals, we all try to create a nurturing and caring environment for our children. However, we often forget that children have diverse learning needs that require additional attention and care. This is where neurodiversity-affirming practices come into play. These practices help children feel safe, accepted, and valued, enabling them to build self-esteem, cultivate positive relationships and succeed in their lives. ✨ To read more about Neurodiversity-Affirming Practices and the important role this plays in your kiddo's life, check out my latest blog: https://lnkd.in/gjVeWtme

https://lnkd.in/dtJDndY takes this opportunity to thank the Board of Management, Principal, staff and parents/guardians of PLAYGROUP, PP I & PP II respectively of PCEA Enchoro Emuny Pri and JSS for giving us the opportunity to conduct Parental Engagement and Empowerment sessions today...It was great, educative, fun-filled & experiential... Every parent/guardian wants the best for the child(ren) under their care. Most importantly, many do assume that learning begins when children enrol in PLAYGROUP class... Which IS NOT TRUE! From conception-3 years, parents can tap into the child's potential, support brain development, EMERGENT LITERACY & EMERGENT NUMERACY, which are FOUNDATIONAL levels for learning... Between 3-5 years, more care and support is crucial... SURPRISINGLY, the majority of us do find themselves as parents and they rely on how they were raised to raise their children... Get in touch with us today for your school; organization; Church etc and we'll share an in-depth insight on EFFECTIVE CHILD CARE PRACTICES... Luke 12: 34 / Mathew 6: 21,"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

A rite of passage at age 13-ish is the important transition from childhood to adulthood, which can be significant for several reasons: *At around the age of 13, many individuals begin to undergo significant physical, emotional, and cognitive changes. A rite of passage can provide a symbolic marker for this transition and help adolescents understand and embrace these changes. *Rites of passage often involve the participation and support of the community or family, strengthening these bonds and fostering a sense of belonging and connection. *Going through a challenging or symbolic experience during a rite of passage can help build emotional resilience, preparing adolescents to face the challenges of adulthood. *A rite of passage is often marked with celebrations, which can boost an individual's self-esteem and sense of achievement. It's an opportunity to be recognized and celebrated by the community and loved ones. *A Rite of Passage also helps to prepare us all for the future roles we will take on as adults, allowing independence to naturally begin while your kids are still at home and can be coached and encouraged.
