Let's shine a light on mental health together. May is mental health awareness month, this month and every day, we stand united in breaking the stigma surrounding mental health. It's time to prioritize our well-being and support one another with empathy and understanding. Here's how we can contribute: Educate: Spread awareness about mental health, share resources, and debunk myths. Support: Be a listening ear, offer kindness, and create safe spaces for open conversations. Self-Care: Prioritize your mental health—practice self-care, mindfulness, and seek help if needed. I know you are busy.. but have you got 5 minutes? I know there is lots of advice on mental health and self care floating around, especially this week. Ironically, it can be overwhelming. So how about this instead. Do something for you, just for 5 minutes. Anything that helps you feel calmer, more relaxed, happier. Here are 5 ideas for 5 min self-care 💡Step outside into your garden/balcony/street and just move. 💡Put your favourite song on and sing a long (dance too if you want!!) 💡Give a loved one a call. Set boundaries if you want, say it's a 5 min chat. 💡Journal, free style, take some of your thoughts out of your head. 💡One of my favourites, have a cup of tea and focus on enjoying that brew! What else can you add to this list? #seomindsetpod #mentalhealthawarenessweek #mentalhealth #wellbeing

On top of Mental Health Awareness Week, May is also National Walking Month. For me, walking offers a form of exercise which is accessible, free and mindful. It's why I choose to go for walks throughout the week as a way to clear my mind and get outside. I really enjoy walks with friends too, as talking things through also helps me to gain clarity. https://lnkd.in/gGDh-xx #NationalWalkingMonth #WalkingforWellbeing

We're supporting the campaign to find moments for movement every day during this Mental Health Awareness Week. Moving our bodies is important for our mental health. Yet research by the Mental Health Foundation shows that more than a third of UK adults find it challenging to find the time for movement. Whilst working from home has brought many advantages, it has led to a less active lifestyle for some of us. Often walking to the kettle or fridge is the most exercise we'll get in one day. So, this week, why not try: counter-top push ups whilst your lunch is heating in the microwave; walking meetings or leg lifts whilst sat at your desk. #MomentsForMovement #mentalhealth #mindsetmatters #wellbeing #stressreduction #mentalhealthmatters #movemore #getmoving
