Community Support Services - Summit County’s Post

Congratulations to Linda Omobien, who retired yesterday after 36 years of service at CSS! As one of the very first employees of the agency, Linda has seen a lot of changes over the years and served in several roles, most recently director of clinical services. Her dedication and commitment to our clients, her coworkers, the mental health field and the community has been steadfast. Yesterday, she was honored with a bicameral citation from State Sen. Vernon Sykes and State Rep. Veronica Sims for her tireless work and commitment. She also was treated to praise from coworkers and honors from the CSS Board of Directors - as well as a roast by a former supervisor (all in good fun, of course). We know she'll be busy in retirement with her continued commitment to Akron City Council, as well as some well-earned travel. We wish her the best in retirement!
