ComMutiny - The Youth Collective’s Post

For a young social entrepreneur, dialogue on deep self-awareness and systems thinking; immersive learning in communities; and vulnerable, empathetic conversations with peers and mentors - is a GAME CHANGER! And this is what we experienced when 26 Changeloomers and 12 facilitators made their way from 11 states across the country to Rajasthan for a 10-day residential workshop. It was truly a coming together of diverse identities, experiences and perspectives. All, for a shared passion and aspiration - building climate-positive communities. With the dedication to inspire, influence and engage their respective communities, these young social entrepreneurs have their work cut out - LEARN, EXPERIMENT and ADAPT. Through exposure visits to GVNML (Gram Vikas Navyuvak Mandal Laporiya) and Bindi International, we experienced a slice of life - one where local communities are in harmony with nature. Learning from the experience and wisdom of these Rewilding and Renewables experts, enabled the Changeloomers to visualise their own projects to create sustainable impact. To align Climate Action with youth-centric and community-driven projects, the ‘Nourishing Now’ Framework offered an understanding of four key needs that must be addressed - Psychological, Socio-cultural, Economic and Ecological. And of course, like all youth-centric spaces, FUN was a serious business here, because one must laugh and learn, as we build solidarities. Watch the video created by one of the Changeloomers, Snobin, for glimpses of this beautiful experience! This would not have been possible without an abundance of energy and love from the Changeloomers, facilitators and partners! #Changelooms #YouthLeadership #vartaLeap #SocialEntrepreneur #ClimateAction
