📣🫀Exciting news for cardiovascular ambulatory care 📣🫀    Compass Surgical Partners, Bon Secours Mercy Health and AlignedCardio today announced their plans to open Short Pump Cardiovascular Ambulatory Surgery Center in the Short Pump area of Henrico, Virginia.    The ASC will offer a range of minimally invasive heart and circulatory procedures such as diagnostic heart catheterization, coronary interventions, peripheral interventions, and pacemaker and AICD implantations.    The facility “will blend the best in customized specialty care with affordability and convenience,” said Compass Market President Scott Bergman, MBA. Orthopedic technology is advancing rapidly, Compass Surgical Partners COO Robert Carrera said recently in an interview with Becker's Healthcare Orthopedic Review.    Ambulatory surgery center leaders will see “the migration of more cases traditionally done in an [inpatient] setting to an ASC, the greater use of robotics and higher-cost equipment and technology such as 3D printing and the use of more sophisticated implant technology, including the mainstreaming of biologic options for care,” Carrera added.    “The challenge for us as an industry will be educating the payers, CMS included, about the benefits of these new trends and technologies, so that they are approved for our setting and reimbursable at a rate that makes them available to our patient population.”    🔖 Read ‘The biggest concerns in orthopedics in the next 10 years’ by Francesca Mathewes: https://lnkd.in/ge4v6-4a    #HealthSystems #ASC #orthopedic
