We've been able to add a special summer session of our in-demand Helping without Hurting in Benevolence Ministry training on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. ET from July 11 to August 15. If you’ve been wondering how your church or ministry can help those asking for financial assistance without hurting them, this training is for you. During Helping without Hurting in Benevolence Ministry, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to develop a holistic, relationship-focused benevolence ministry that addresses material poverty in transformational ways. There are many reasons why churches and ministries struggle to develop and implement an effective benevolence ministry, including: ❌ Feeling overwhelmed by the needs in their community ❌ Feeling powerless to help people in the “right way” ❌ Feeling frustrated because long-term change is hard to see ❌ Feeling afraid of enabling people Helping without Hurting in Benevolence Ministry will help you move beyond these challenges to lay a biblical foundation, gather a team of people to help, and create processes to sustain your benevolence ministry. You don’t have to figure this out on your own. Register for Helping without Hurting in Benevolence Ministry today ➡️ https://lnkd.in/enxEByMD P.S. Register by July 3 to get the early bird discount!

The incarnation—God becoming flesh in Jesus—is an expression of God's long-term partnership with us. "I am with you always," Jesus said, "to the very end of the age." (Mt 28:20) This is why ENLACE aims to embody God's love through long-term partnerships with communities and churches. And we believe that its not just good missiology—it's good development. Many humanitarian organizations help people get stuff: food, water, homes, roads, latrines, or whatever, then they leave. This teaches communities that help comes from the outside. ENLACE begins within. We commit. We partner with churches on a 5- to 10-year-long journey as they restore relationships in a process that will result in a thriving community. It is this commitment to long-term partnerships that enables ENLACE to work with communities to match your gift, doubling your impact through sustainable poverty solutions. Over time, your gift multiplies even more as communities design and execute life-saving projects of their own. Lastly, long-term partnerships forge the deep relationships that enable us to authentically share the gospel.

Business leaders, politicians, & media stars are afraid to talk about 1 thing. And that 1 thing can solve the vast majority of our problems. Fatherlessness. Our leaders all want to pretend that it isn’t the biggest problem facing the United States and frankly, the entire world. But it isn’t politically correct to mention. 25% of American children don’t live with a father in the home. That’s nearly 18 million boys and girls. When a child is raised in a fatherless home, she is more likely to: ▪️Live in poverty ▪️End up in jail ▪️Become pregnant as a teen ▪️Drop out of school That’s why CATHOLIC WORLD MISSION INC is developing programs with The Lumen Institute to address this tragedy head on. We are working to build stronger fathers and stronger families by looking to the example of St Joseph. Be sure to check on CatholicWorldMission.org in the upcoming weeks on this program and learn how to help. Because it takes guts to address the real issue. It takes guts to stand up for kids.

Churches play a vital role in many communities, offering spiritual guidance, social support, and a sense of belonging. However, they are increasingly facing significant financial hardships that threaten their sustainability and, by extension, their ability to serve their congregations and communities effectively. Churches often rely on outdated financial models. Without the knowledge of modern financial strategies, churches may struggle to adapt to changing economic conditions, increasing their vulnerability. The financial struggles of churches extend beyond their walls. When churches face fiscal difficulties, their ability to provide services—such as food banks, counseling, and youth programs—diminishes. This gap often falls on local governments and non-profits, which may not have the resources to fill it, leading to increased hardship for community members. Moreover, a lack of financial literacy within the church can perpetuate broader community issues. Congregations that do not prioritize financial education may miss opportunities to teach their members about budgeting, saving, and investing, which can hinder overall economic stability in the community. By enhancing their financial literacy and diversifying their income streamsIn conclusion, the financial hardships faced by churches pose significant risks not only to their survival but also to the well-being of the communities they serve. By prioritizing financial education and innovative strategies, churches can reclaim their vital role in fostering resilient and thriving communities. #god #church #Bible #jesus #godisgood #godlovesyou #jesuslovesyou #jesuschrist #jesusisking #lordgodourfather #godfirst #prayer #prayerwarriors #prayerworks
