I believe retailers need to adapt to the changing consumer preferences and expectations, and offer value, quality, convenience, and personalization to their customers. Retailers also need to have agile and transparent supply chains that can cope with disruptions and crises, and leverage digital and social channels to reach and engage consumers. Retailers that can deliver on these aspects may have a better chance of attracting and retaining consumers during the holiday sales season and beyond.
