We are looking for a dedicated Scheduler to efficiently plan and coordinate the daily schedules of our engineering team. This crucial role at the heart of our operations and ensures that all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks are scheduled to meet customer service levels by optimising our engineers' productivity. Roles and Responsibilities: - Plan and schedule daily activities for engineers, ensuring optimal resource utilisation and compliance with British Standards. - Coordinate with customers to arrange PPM appointments. - Adjust schedules in response to changes, such as customer requirements or engineer availability. - Provide timely updates to customers about service appointments and any changes. - Maintain accurate scheduling records in the SimPRO job management system (training will be provided) - Monitor service reports and use data to improve scheduling efficiency. - Resolve scheduling conflicts or issues quickly and thoughtfully. - Proactively identify and mitigate potential scheduling challenges. - Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring compliance with contracted service levels. Skills and Experience: - Proven experience in scheduling, coordinating, or administrative roles, preferably in the fire or security industry. - Strong organisational and time management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficient in scheduling/job management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. - Knowledge of fire and security systems and industry standards is advantageous. - Experience with field service management software is a plus.
