As we kick off the month of March, I wanted to take a moment to recognize and celebrate Women's History Month. This is a time to honor the contributions, achievements, and resilience of women throughout history and in our present day. Did you know that the women's rights movement in the United States traces its roots back to my home state of New York? It all began in 1848 in Seneca Falls, a small town in upstate New York, where the first Women's Rights Convention was held. Organized by prominent activists such as Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott, this historic event marked the beginning of a movement that would reshape the course of history. The Declaration of Sentiments, drafted at the Seneca Falls Convention, called for women's equality in areas such as education, employment, and the right to vote. While progress was gradual, the impact of this movement reverberated throughout the nation, leading to significant advancements in women's rights over the years. From the suffragists who fought tirelessly for women's right to vote, to the trailblazers who shattered glass ceilings in politics, business, science, and beyond, women have played a pivotal role in shaping our society and driving positive change. As we reflect on the legacy of the women's rights movement, let us also recognize the ongoing work that still lies ahead. Today, we continue to strive for gender equality in all aspects of life, from closing the wage gap to combating gender-based violence and discrimination. This Women's History Month, let us celebrate the achievements of women past and present, and recommit ourselves to building a more inclusive and equitable world for future generations. #WomensHistoryMonth

Together we can forge women's equality. Collectively we can all #InspireInclusion.
