The Thrill of Innovation The tech industry certainly isn’t short on events! From analyst conferences to HPC events, from Cisco Live, VMworld, EMC World, and Dell Technologies World, I’ve had the privilege of being in the thick of it for more than two decades. I’ve seen firsthand how each event offers something unique—tech innovation, invaluable networking, and the occasional must-have swag. This is true whether I'm organizing events, staffing booths, giving presentations or demos, interacting with clients, partners, and coworkers, or enduring the never-ending coffee queues. But there are two events I haven’t yet attended (at least in person) that I’m particularly drawn to, yes virtually: ✅ NVIDIA's GTC: Two words—Jensen Huang. His keynotes are legendary. Nobody quite captivates an audience with a keynote like Jensen—part tech visionary, part storyteller and his passion for innovation is contagious. When he speaks, the entire industry listens. ✅ AWS re:Invent: Where do I even begin? From a tidal wave of announcements to the “who’s who” on the expo floor, to the can’t-miss keynotes, it’s a technologist’s dream come true – it’s pure tech magic. These events encapsulate the spirit of the industry—a celebration of innovation, discovery, and the connections that drive it all forward. I don’t know about you, but I am excited about what the future has to offer.
