Tracking the geolocation of children on the map appeared in Android. At the beginning of June 2024, it became known that Google had implemented a function in the Android operating system to track the location of children on the map. We are talking about expanding the capabilities of the Find My Device application. It is reported that the Find Device tool has acquired a special Family devices tab. It can display Android gadgets used by children. In this case, parental control mode must be activated. If you select a child’s device, the system will show the geolocation on the map. The location is updated in real time and the accuracy is up to several meters. In addition, adults can find out what percentage of battery charge is left on the child's smartphone. Some other useful information is also displayed.

While designing websites, multiple #responsivebreakpoints are offered for different devices by frameworks like #Bootstrap but timelines and budgets may not allow building and optimizing for all of those. So if we are constrained to three responsive breakpoints 360px for mobile, 768px for tablet, and 1366px for desktop are the optimal choices that we recommend. We settled at 360px for mobile considering the global viewport statistics for mobiles and the viewport sizes covering the majority of mobiles from IOS and Android. Similarly, the 768px decision for tablets was decided based on the viewport sizes of Apple tablets which have a market penetration of around 75%. A similar thought process went into determining the breakpoint for desktops too.
