MARCOM’s Rear Admiral Thomas Wall appeared in a 30 minute interview on Swedish TV News show “Rapport”, on channel SVT. Commander, Submarines NATO was interviewed alongside the Commander of the Swedish Submarine Flotilla, Captain Paula Wallenburg. Rear Admiral Thomas Wall was in Sweden attending the Submarines Commanders Conference, which happened to coincide with the Turkish Parliament accepting the accession of Sweden to NATO. “Sweden joining NATO will increase NATO’s operational capability,” said Rear Admiral Wall on hearing the news. “Today we have submarines from 13 nations, with Sweden we will be 14.
