#VDZResearch Read our new Ibausil paper on the stability of calcined clays during storage   The production of cements with calcined clays is a key element in the CO₂ reduction strategy of the cement industry. In 2050, approximately 4.6 Mio t of calcined clays are foreseen to be a main constituent of cement in Germany. With the expected introduction of calcined clays, issues such as the simplest possible storage without loss of reactivity, storage stability and transport will come into focus.   In order to gain knowledge in this field, VDZ has carried out a few studies on the effects of storage conditions on the performance of calcined clays.
