Today, I am reaching out to share a concerning incident that recently came to our attention at Inetweaver. It is not something we take lightly, and it's crucial to address it openly and collaboratively within our professional network. We had an ex-employee https://lnkd.in/g2bxYBEH (attaching profile link as she has blocked us) working as an HR Executive at Inetweaver. Unfortunately, she left without completing her work tenure and serving the agreed-upon notice period. Due to this, we regrettably had to withhold her last few days' salary and experience letter. However, a rather disconcerting turn of events unfolded when we received a background verification email for her, accompanied by an attached PDF claiming to be her experience letter. To our shock, the letter was not issued by us. It seems our official letterhead was manipulated with inaccurate contact information, and the signature of our HR Manager was stolen from another colleague's documents. Let me remind you all that she was the part of HR team which is the custodian of company culture and professionalism. This incident raises serious ethical concerns, not just for us but for the entire professional community. Yesterday, we received a call from Tech Mahindra Tech Mahindra, a respected organization in our industry, seeking the original certificates for her, as they have already onboarded her and wish to avoid another recruitment procedure. In the spirit of maintaining the integrity of our industry and safeguarding the trust we place in our fellow professionals, I urge other companies to join hands in this moment. Let's collectively take a stand against such acts of dishonesty by employees and advocate for thorough background verification processes. This incident underscores the importance of promoting a culture of transparency and authenticity within our professional networks. Let's work together to ensure that our hiring processes remain robust and reliable. I encourage you to share your thoughts, experiences, and suggestions on how we can collectively address and prevent such occurrences in the future. Thank you for your time and attention.
