There’s lots of great successes already - as is evidenced in the ABPCO Excellence Awards. Although we're all in a different place on the journey to 100% Sustainability, there are still few that have budget lines in place for carbon reporting and offsetting - so the question of cost/budget is still challenging for many. Yesterday, City of Tallinn organised a stakeholder engagement event for their circular economy development plan. ♻️ The event itself was great, lead by the ever talented Mayri Tiido. We got to brainstorm and share ideas on how the city can become more circular. Special thanks to Katarina Papp and Liina Kanarbik for guiding the conversation in our groups! Awesome discussions and ideas! 💡 I do have one gripe and that is with my own industry. The built environment is a key part of the development plan yet it was only me yesterday and one person from a competitor on Tuesday present. Do you not know that these events are happening or do you simply not care? If it's the former then maybe I should start a newsletter? 📨 If it's the latter then we need to do better, if we don't act and lead the conversation then the conversation will start leading us. And knowing our industry, we really don't want that.

After finishing my Sustainability MSc, I was left with one question: "Right, now I have the answers—how do I help everyone else see them?"
