In addition, nearly 250 HR leaders answered questions about their unique stressors when making benefits decisions.” “The survey found that 77% of respondents reported having poor physical health due to work stress, and nearly 40% reported having serious mental health challenges related to work, such as substance abuse. -+- Post-COVID Trauma -+- I've reached the 20-year mark in my professional journey. Throughout the years, I've always enjoyed the camaraderie of the office environment and cherished personal interactions with colleagues. However, this abruptly changed with the onset of COVID-19, subsequent lockdowns, and the shift to remote work. I firmly believe that working collaboratively in teams nurtures creativity and spurs innovation. Personal interactions also deepen relationships and foster mutual care, which is challenging to maintain in virtual meetings alone. How often do you share updates about your family, recent vacations, or even your innermost feelings in a large video conference? I certainly don't. But there's another crucial aspect to consider. Successful companies often boast a strong culture, where purpose emanates from creating meaningful products and contributing to a larger cause, and where culture is shaped by the collective strength of the team. This week, I had the privilege of attending a global conference. This was the first onsite event in five years with nearly 100 familiar colleagues. The experience was undeniably emotional. Standing on stage and connecting directly with such a large group was far more exciting than any virtual town hall or conference. Moreover, reuniting with friends I've known for years, like my dear old friend Papa captured in the photo, whom I finally met again after more than five years, was incredibly rewarding and gave me a boost in motivation. I recall the wise words of my former boss, who retired several years ago: "I've likely participated in over 40,000 meetings, and I can hardly recall any of them. But I do remember many memorable evenings and offsite gatherings." This sentiment rings true, and I eagerly anticipate the next opportunity for personal interaction.

In today’s fast-paced business environment, success often means hitting goals, meeting deadlines, and staying on top of countless tasks. But there’s something even more important that often gets overlooked: mental health. True success isn’t solely about productivity; it’s about finding balance, clarity, and wellness along the way. At Virtual Champions PH, we believe mental health is just as essential as any tool or system in your business. One of the most effective ways to alleviate stress and regain focus is by leveraging Virtual Assistance. By delegating tasks to a virtual assistant, you can lighten your workload, creating space for clarity and strategic thinking. Here’s how Virtual Assistance can help: 1. Delegate Routine Tasks: Free up mental space by offloading calendar management and email correspondence. This allows you to concentrate on high-impact projects. -Tip: Use your virtual assistant for scheduling appointments and responding to routine emails to clear mental clutter. 2. Create Time for Strategic Thinking: With a virtual assistant managing operational details, you gain the mental freedom to focus on growth and innovation. -Tip: Block out dedicated time for strategic work while your assistant handles daily tasks. 3. Reduce Decision Fatigue: Let your virtual assistant handle routine decisions to prevent draining your mental energy. -Tip: Empower them to manage your schedule and filter meetings to minimize constant evaluations. 4. Maintain Work-Life Balance: Virtual assistants help you set boundaries by managing tasks after hours, ensuring you have time to recharge. -Tip: Clearly communicate your availability to avoid working around the clock. Partnering with a virtual assistant not only boosts your efficiency but also protects your mental health. Remember, success isn’t just about achievement; it’s about managing the journey. Prioritizing mental health through delegation allows you to work smarter while maintaining clarity. Ready to lighten your load? Let’s explore how our Virtual Assistance services can help reduce stress and enhance your mental wellness! #MondayMotivation #MentalHealthMatters #VirtualAssistantLife #WorkLifeBalance #SelfCare #VAProductivity #ThrivingBusiness #VirtualChampionsPH #VCPH

Research proves your brain needs breaks. Back-to-back meetings are harming mental health and work performance. It's important to schedule short breaks to allow a reset and improve performance. This research by Microsoft Worklab shows breaks are important, not just to make us less exhausted by the end of the day, but to actually improve our ability to focus and engage while in those meetings. https://lnkd.in/d78paUVs #microsoft #research #mentalhealth #msadvocate

Workplaces should be safe spaces, FULL STOP!! Daniel Abrahams is so right with this quote!! Ever walk into the office and feel your stomach drop? Or open your laptop at home only to be hit with a wave of panic when you see those 78 team chat notifications? It shouldn’t be like this. Your workplace is NOT a place where you’re: ❌ Scrutinised for every move ❌ Left without support ❌ Belittled or made to feel small ❌ Ignored when you speak up ❌ Undervalued for your contributions Rather, you should feel: ✅ Supported ✅ Heard ✅ Valued ✅ Respected ✅ Empowered Everyone deserves to have their mental health at peace in their workplace —a place that encourages open communication and respects each individual’s worth. If your workplace isn’t providing that, it’s time to reassess what you NEED to truly thrive. P.S.
