Been on a Kafka and Kubernetes journey and successfully set up a Kafka Cluster of 3 nodes in KRaft mode on Kubernetes after about 48 hours of work! Check out the setup here: https://lnkd.in/euccv45C Transitioning from deploying Kafka locally or using ZooKeeper to Kubernetes led me to dive deeper into "listeners" and "advertised.listeners" configurations. With KRaft mode introducing self-managment of "controllers" and "brokers," meticulous setup of the "listeners" configuration became crucial for seamless communication within the Kubernetes cluster. Creating this script in Python to build a Skype bot, for customer support. At Smartkalls Inc, we support our customers on Skype, so I'm building this. I love microservices because they are independent of all other services. So, I can create anything in any language and connect it with Kafka or REST API. What are you doing today? Trying the RabbitMQ cluster deployment. This message-broker middleware is amazing for operating microservices. Deployment is the easiest part, to gain further experience with this middleware, we will need to prepare some Python requesters for stress testing. As long as we know how and how much this middleware handle the queues, we can have the right plan for both infra resource allocation & RabbitMQ system architecture itself to be operated as good as expected
