Had the honor to partner with some amazing Amazon engineers and Bloomberg colleagues to design and develop a highly scalable and extensible architecture, suited for any real time solutions that need a high performance computation running natively in the cloud. In this workshop we will focus on the options use case, showcasing the ease of integration with B-Pipe in the cloud using our common blpapi to first discover the option chains for any underlyings, and then ingest Bloomberg’s high quality realtime or snapshots pricing data, required by an implied volatility calculator. This is coupled with Apache Flint for distributed computing. The resultant implied violatility surface can either be consumed by your pricing engine in the cloud or on-premise, making it a powerful cloud native or hybrid solution.
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn how to build a high-performance, cloud-native workflow for processing options and implied volatility data. In this session, you'll: -Get hands-on experience building with the Bloomberg API in the AWS cloud. ️ -Discover how to create a scalable reference architecture using powerful AWS services. -Learn best practices for handling large volumes of streaming updates. Register now! Seats are limited. https://bloom.bg/3VBqPfL #AWS #CloudDevelopment #HandsOnLab #OptionsTrading #ImpliedVolatility

Serverless is more than just functions. Functions really limit what you can do with serverless as you are beholden to the runtimes of the vendor. Containers allow you to bundle the runtime with the code, freeing you. Want to learn more about how serverless containers? Join me tomorrow ( December 10, 2024) at 10am PST as I do a webinar on serverless containers with the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF)! #serverless #serverlesscontainers https://lnkd.in/gnFqHESq
