Guess what just happened? Just received a call from the Client Just two weeks of website launch, and boom! Results started flowing in. He was so excited about it, that he made a call instead of sending a message. He said: "The client just asked me, "What are your service costs?" This was a big BRAND for which I thought I would do the work for FREE. But, when I shared my website link, they asked about my prices, which is unimaginable. Also, I'm about to close some other projects as well." — These were his words on the call. But here's the kicker — the project isn't even fully wrapped up yet! I help clubs to communicate with mainly foreign audiences, but clubs shouldn't forget their local fans who need sign-language interpreting. What an excellent initiative by Kirsten Willem. I wonder how many clubs have a section of the stadium for fans who use sign language? For everyone DMing me asking to share my shortlisted entry (that's how you create fake hype), here's what we did for Cannes Young Lions 2024. The idea was not to make an ad that will get people to get up, go and vote. I don't think any ad can do that. It's not that easy. The idea was to decode the brief, understand the problem and try to find a solution. The goal was to spread awareness so that it raises consideration for voting and then just being hopelessly optimistic that the consideration eventually turns into conversion. So, we might not have won the competition but if this made you consider voting and question your stance on "Does my vote really matters?", I think our job is done. Winning or getting shortlisted was never the goal, it was just the byproduct of our efforts. Couldn't thank Shivam Bhagat enough for being such a wonderful partner. We'll get them next time my man.

Shout out to Lauryn Groce and Hannah Siefert and team that put on a great event! 🙌🏾 This was actually my first networking event related to sports - and I got a chance to meet some great people. 3 Things I learned from the speakers: 1. “Micro Mentoring” anyone can be an expert in your circle in topics you may not excel in, at the minimum a friend 2. Successful leaders are intuitive but even more just want to learn as much as they can from areas that intrigue them - to then be a resource for multiple people in a organization. My favorite line was a “Swiss army knife” 3. Goals can look a lot of different ways and everyone may not understand your vision - so understand the business goals and relate those down to your long term vision no matter what your title is
