Due to an ongoing Congressional investigation, ConkSat is being ordered to release documents pertaining to the history of Building J. ConkSat does not wish to put out a public statement at this time.
This report is a valuable case study of inspiring crisis management that should be taught in every MBA program. It illustrates that when all of your contingency plans fail (assuming that you have any), clear-eyed and decisive senior management can make the tough decisions to make any problem--and some employees--disappear, protecting the bottom line. Kudos.
I had no idea Conk Sat had such a rich and storied history in the American space and defense industry dating back to over 50 years ago. I thought yall were a start up; why isn’t this in science textbooks?
They should let me eat a can of yellow cake. For science.
Pending the worst outcome from the Congressional investigation, I’m confident that a fine of less than .001% of last year’s revenue will serve to show that our Government truly cares about regulating the safety of whatever industry is described in this post. I personally appreciate ConkSat’s commitment to transparency in these unprecedented times, and am certain that this unfortunate and unforseeable act-of-God is behind them, even if other disasters are yet to come or have yet to surface from the last several decades of mismanagement. God bless ConkSat and God bless the United States of America!
The added touch for the documents being scanned in with a tilt, exquisite!
This reminds me of the Fleshpit National Park 2007 disaster investigative report
RIP to the research engineer trying to ride the centrifuge. Never found, but never forgotten. #Hero
I trust the estate of the decommissioned Shift Supervisor was properly billed for the material cost of the expendables employed on the actionable item subsequent to the investigation, as per industry standard back then.
