They may be drawn to the technical aspects of data center management, the fast-paced environment, or the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology. On the other hand, when a candidate "needs" to work for a data center company, it may be due to external factors, such as financial necessity or a lack of other job opportunities. We're hiring at Homes England for an Head of Data Architecture and Governance, permanent contract, full-time 35 hours per week, based in either Coventry or Liverpool with hybrid working. 33 days leave plus 8 bank holidays, 360 health assessments, High street discounts and more… This role will be responsible for ensuring the agency’s data is built around an efficient data architecture with appropriate governance measures. You will create trust in connected data assets and establish a trustworthy foundation that empowers Homes England to pursue its broad data initiatives. We are looking for an experienced data architect with a strong background in leading work around data governance and design. With significant experience, in shaping organisation-wide data estate, establishing standards and a governance framework, improving data quality and delivering the architecture for engineers to work from. Experience in wider scale change around data in an organisation would be beneficial. You will hold a relevant degree in data or significant equivalent industry standard experience. You will need to have a clear understanding of how data should be structured, what is the current best practice and how other data expertise will need to work with a structured data environment to interpret data and gather insights. You will have the ability to communicate the importance of data architecture and governance and a drive to make information easily available to all.
