Happy #MarvisMonday everyone! Today I would like to introduce you to a customer near and dear to us here in New England, Savant Systems. They have built smart homes for the last 17 years and have been at the cutting edge of AV, IoT, and #WiFi to accomplish those connections in some of the most technologically advanced homes around the globe. They were looking to ensure not only reliable connections, but detailed data to ensure clients and devices were having the best experience possible on the network. And they needed to be easy for each of their 5,000+ dealers to configure and deploy. This is where Mist Systems and our #AI came into play. We were able to help Aaron Gutin, Product Category Director, and his team to enable smooth deployment and troubleshooting for all of their dealers. “The best part is that the dealer doesn’t need to be a wireless expert. Our Smart Network dashboard shows the customer experience on the wireless network. The dealer has tons of information available on a laptop or iPhone,” says Gutin. And they were able to utilize our open API system to create a customized dashboard for the installers as well. “I’ve worked on about 100 integrations,” says Paul Langdon, director of cloud architecture at Savant. “This software and the APIs were the best I’ve seen. They had great example calls and thorough documentation, which meant I never spent more than a few minutes finding what I needed.” They are now able to see and address issues in home networks as they occur with limited truck rolls and fewer hours spent troubleshooting. Which means, customers are able to enjoy their home networks that much longer!
