Together with R&D mining technology department in #LKAB, we are developing a conceptual platform that allows us to dynamically test almost any vehicle in various areas of our operations. This platform enables us to simulate large machines and how they physically fit into different locations. It involves basic vehicle dynamics, and we can quickly modify models so that the operations team often receives feedback within a few hours and can test-drive these simulations themselves. While the demonstration film shows a straightforward application in an open yard, envision how this technology can be applied in confined spaces within our industrial area or down in the mine. The application can be run on a PC or as in this Demonstration video on a Stand Alone Quest headset. Both in VR and MR. We have done this before, but now interest has increased.
