Job Description: As a Payroll Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the company's payroll processes and activities. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all payroll transactions, ensuring compliance with Egyptian payroll and tax laws, and collaborating with HR for payroll processing. Strategic planning to improve payroll processes and efficiency will also be a key aspect of your role. Responsibilities: ∙Manage and oversee all aspects of payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, and tax filings. ∙Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. ∙Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure alignment and accuracy of payroll data. ∙Prepare and present detailed reports related to payroll expenditures and tax deductions. ∙Stay informed about changes in Egyptian payroll and tax laws. ∙Participate in audits and support in monthly closing as needed. Qualifications: ∙Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field/ preferable to be graduated from American or German University. ∙Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll or related roles. ∙Strong knowledge of Egyptian payroll and tax laws. ∙Proficiency in payroll software (Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. ∙Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. ∙Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
