Processes > Routines all-day everyday! Does your dealership use processes or routines to operate? Yes, there is a difference, the importance surrounding the end result! Many of the dealers I’ve visited say they use processes, but when asked to see the processes in writing, or when talking to their team members, they all have different interpretations of the process which makes it just a routine. Process = a documented series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end. Routine = a sequence of actions regularly followed; a fixed program. So again I ask, does your dealership use processes or routines?
