Here’s a pic of me in Brussels on my first incentive trip for Vivid Recruit Ltd🙌. It felt strange setting my own incentive, I didn’t start thinking about it until month four when I realised, I needed a break. I initially thought “do I deserve a holiday, should I be taking time off?” I knew what I needed to do…. 💥 I set myself a certain KPI, reserved the dates for my “reward holiday” and when I hit the figure needed, I booked the flights ✈ almost immediately. Yay! I have worked in an incentive/commission culture for years so why didn’t I think of it sooner? 😕 Setting up a business you can forget to take time for yourself, imposter syndrome strikes when you least expect it, and your mind is racing 24/7.
