According to a recent Clarivate survey, 63% of patients discharged from hospitals worry about long-term tolerance to their medication. The WHO highlights that non-adherence to antihypertensive medications is a key factor in poorly controlled hypertension, with 50% to 70% of patients struggling to follow their prescribed treatment plans. This issue spans all conditions and demographics, from children to oncology patients. Grace Lomax, MBBS, Clinical Director of Patient Connect at Clarivate, notes, “The average retiree over 65 is being treated for three different diseases, often with five or more medicines.
