⏳ Not every project has a poetic ending, but this one does 🎉 We go the extra mile for our clients, and it sure pays off. Like the time that Meg from RCT sent us a sonnet penned by their Haitian Creole team leader! Too bad Shakespeare didn’t get to meet “Airtable Paul” We’re pretty sure he would’ve written about him too ✍ Thanks to our clients for reminding us why we love what we do. Here’s to more projects with poetic endings! #AirtableExperts #AirtableSuccess #ClientLove #TechAndPoetry

Delighted to announce that my new book James Graham: State of the Nation Playwright is now available in ebook and hardback format from Palgrave Macmillan. This is the first full-length study of the writer’s published plays from 2006-2023 examining the collective state of the nation commentary and reflections on British identity in Graham's work, how different power bases operate in modern society, their effectiveness and influence, and how they came to pre-eminence during the last 70 years https://lnkd.in/eAryWZm2

If you've followed me for more than 7 minutes or you know me IRL, you know how excited I get when I learn about a new word. I encountered "retronym" in the waning chapters of Kory Stamper's fantastic book "Word by Word: The Secret Life of Dictionaries" (which I highly recommend, BTW). So of course I had to write about it on my blog and share one of my personal faves. Gotta click to find out which one, though. 😉 https://bit.ly/3OJSx7r #writingadvice #wordchoice #writingcoach

Anchored in a deep reverence for syntax, I help shape narratives that distil complex, real-world problems into clearly defined variables that can be studied objectively.
"..if a monkey types on a typerwriter for a long enough period of time, there is a 100% chance he will write down all of Shakespeare's sonnets by pure chance.." :p #recreationalresearch #contentexperiment #contentdata #mediaslant #constellations #stars #data

Imagine there are an infinite number of monkeys sitting in a room, each monkey before a typewriter randomly typing out pages and pages of content, the theory of Infinity tells us that there will be atleast one monkey which will type out the complete works of Shakespeare. That's one version of the infinite monkey theorem. Turn this inside out, How do you find 'Shakespeare' in a room having an infinite number of monkeys?

The FNWF Judges often say "they don't/didn't edit Shakespeare". Hence FNWF prefers to leave the published novels and Anthologies of FNWF in their main state. As the Author intended. "Marking the 400th anniversary of the publication of William Shakespeare's First Folio, gripping three-part docuseries Shakespeare: Rise of A Genius tells the incredible story of how a glover’s son from rural Stratford became the greatest writer who ever lived." His works have lasted 400 years. The unique and magnificent stories of FNWF Authors, once published, will also last many years. And who knows? There are no other stories like this in the world. https://lnkd.in/gpus-ZbY

The joys of #homeschooling is when those 💡moments happen; this time it happened while lecturing the high schooler on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Storytelling reminds us to add a bit of flair to our presentations. A good speech is like a page-turner; it grips the audience, keeping them engrossed from beginning to the end. So channel your inner poet 🎭 this weekend while you prepare for that upcoming presentation. Weave a wondrous web of words that captivates your audience, making your message the hero of your tale! #CommSpeakTips #PublicSpeaking #letstalk
