A special day at the Connor® Sports manufacturing mill when Lacey James and Brandon Watkins from the Windy City Bulls took some time to visit our facility! These NBA G League stars were thrilled to get an inside look at the craftsmanship and dedication it takes to build the world's best hardwood maple sports floors. With the start of the NCAA basketball season just weeks away, Connor® Sports worked with the University of Utah to replace the competition floor at the Jon M Huntsman Center. The progress photos show the removal of the existing floor, the installation of the Connor® Sports subfloor, the installation of the Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association 1st grade maple, completed with the game lines and team graphics. The team at Connor® Sports was given a unique opportunity to provide a scaled down version of one of our portable floors for the recent Big Ten Conference and Big Ten Network Media Days event held in Chicago, IL. We were honored to be a part of such an eye catching room used for photos, videos, cameos, and laughs by athletes and coaches of both the Men's and Women's programs of the Big Ten Conference!
