On February 28th, the retail titan opened its doors to 27 dynamic brands, marking the inaugural gathering at its Welwyn Garden City campus.
This initiative supersedes Tesco’s previous incubator scheme, signaling a renewed commitment to fostering innovation.
Under this pioneering programme, chosen suppliers stand to gain unprecedented access to Tesco's vast network, both in-store and online, propelling their growth trajectory to new heights.
Each brand has been handpicked to align with burgeoning consumer preferences.
They span from health and sustainability to specialised offerings tailored to the diverse communities Tesco serves.
Additionally, emphasis is placed on values-driven brands that actively contribute to their surrounding communities.
Tesco has assembled a dedicated innovation buying team, primed to offer unwavering support to the brands.
Through a comprehensive year-long curriculum comprising mentoring, learning, and development opportunities, the focus remains steadfast on fostering sustainable growth.
