CNQR
I've made a lot of mistakes since starting Conquer App, but my largest has been a lack of attention to our brand. Looking back, I really didn't understand what a brand was up until a few months ago. Sure, we've always had a logo, a color palette, and some fonts we liked, but it didn't go further than that. And with no immediate ROI, investing in design/brand has always been hard for me to justify. Over the past year I've gotten some negative, but honest feedback on the Conquer brand. Some of it I agreed with, some of it I didn't. But what was clear was that Conquer wasn't being perceived in the same way I imagined it to be. And I definitely didn't have the skills to fix it. In the last 6 months I've read as much about branding as I could get my hands on. I was lucky enough to convince Éva Goicochea to join Conquer as an advisor and together we compiled a list and interviewed dozens of agencies before deciding on AWP. With the help of Eva, Mariane Vaillancourt, Emanuel C. and Mariusz Ruciński, we've built the skeleton to what I feel is a rock solid brand. Most importantly, it's a brand that I'm really proud of. Today, I'm excited to share our rebrand of Conquer (CNQR). Like any brand, it's a work in progress, but I've included some assets below so you can get a sense for our new look. This is the first of several exciting announcements that we'll be sharing at Conquer over the next 30 days. www.conquerapp.io
