Short-term aircraft maintenance for Smartwings at Vienna (VIE) and Linz (LNZ) airports has become one of our traditions. ✈️ They operate a fleet of B737NG and B737MAX aircraft, and we greatly enjoy maintaining them every year. 😊 This beautiful photo of the B737NG was taken by our aircraft engineer, Michal Dado. 📸 Who has a better view at work? 🌄 #linemaintenance #teamCAI #CAI

Did you know that IOMAR via their legislation accepts most EASA 145 & FAA 145 Maintenance Organisations without directly issuing maintenance approvals? Despite this flexible & simple approach, operators & maintenance organisations are often not aware of how easy it is to certify an M Reg aircraft under the Isle of Man legislation. #SafetyWithService #MReg #businessaviation #aviationleasing #aircraftmaintenance #maintainance
At Aerotech, we like to keep it simple and effective, as do our strategic partners Isle of Man Aircraft Registry Did you know the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry (IOMAR) via their legislation accepts most EASA 145 and FAA 145 Maintenance Organisations without directly issuing maintenance approvals? Despite this flexible and simple approach, operators and maintenance organisations are often not aware of how easy it is to certify an M-Reg aircraft under the Isle of Man legislation. Aerotech has been working with the IOMAR and we are delighted they have issued a Maintenance Organisation Unilateral Acceptance Certificate to avoid further confusion. A maintenance organisation can now demonstrate IOMAR capability based on their EASA or FAA 145 approval via this certificate. Let us show you how easy it can be to transition an aircraft through the M-Reg with Aerotech International. Please get in touch for more information. #aviationleasing #aviation #leasing #consultancy #aviationregulation #teamwork

#A380 on its last legs? Far from it… by completing their first ever 12-year check on the world’s largest passenger jet, Lufthansa Technik Philippines just gave Lufthansa’s “Mike Charlie” a fresh undercarriage and a new lease of life. Compared to the less extensive three- or six-year checks that the German airline's first four reactivated Airbus A380s received from our colleagues in #Manila, the scheduled 12-year check involved much more intensive inspections of the aircraft structure. Therefore, it also encompassed a temporary detachment of all four engines and a complete exchange of the undercarriage, whose four main landing gear assemblies will be overhauled by our experts at Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services UK. In addition to the scheduled work packages of a twelve-year check, our team in Manila also had to carry out modifications, such as implementing all airworthiness directives (ADs) issued by the manufacturer Airbus during the long inactivity of the aircraft. At peak times, more than 100 of our aircraft mechanics were working on D-AIMC as part of the twelve-year check. Despite its more than 42,000 flying hours and over 4,300 flight cycles, “Mike Charlie” is not just basically ready for its return to active scheduled service with Lufthansa, but also fit for the time until its next, but then significantly smaller, base maintenance check. With D-AIMH “Mike Hotel”, which Lufthansa had already transferred from Frankfurt to Manila on February 11, the next twelve-year check on an A380 is already underway in Manila. “The return of the A380 to the fleets of many airlines has also boosted demand for maintenance services enormously. We are benefiting quite well from this with our A380 expertise here in Manila, that we recently even expanded with the third overhaul line,” explains Elmar Lutter. “In view of the delays in the delivery of numerous new wide-body aircraft, I am certain that services for the A380 will remain an integral part of our portfolio for years to come.” #keepyouflying #lufthansatechnik #avmro #mroexperts #basemaintenance

CEO at Mehyou Group | Entrepreneur | Aviator. Intercontinental Aviation Enterprise | Airways Aviation Group | PWR Group
The Quest for the Perfect Training Aircraft Choosing the perfect aircraft for our flying school is a complex decision that involves balancing various factors such as safety, performance, comfort, innovation, and operational efficiency. Given my background as a pilot and my experiences with different aircrafts, my perspective on this matter may be biased. Like many aviators, I have my favourite machines, and I vividly remember the emotional connection I had with the aircrafts during my early student flights. So, when it comes to finalizing the fleet investment for Cyprus, I find myself between an all-forgiving Cessna, the genius design and practicability of Tecnam, and the mighty Diamond DA40 that I love to fly these days. While student satisfaction and training quality are paramount, we must also consider the business performance of our fleet. After years of operating a mixed fleet, I am convinced that standardizing our aircrafts to a single manufacturer will bring essential optimizations. Like airlines, having a uniform fleet simplifies maintenance, reduces operational costs, and enhances scheduling efficiency. Having said this, we are dedicated to providing our students with the best possible training experience. I invite you to share your thoughts and insights on this topic. What do you think is the perfect aircraft for a flying school? Leave a comment below and join the conversation. 🤝 #SafetyFirst and a good #SafetyManagementSystem (#SMS) will address this accident. Let’s all keep it in mind and find a solution to not occur it again at any other #airport.
TUI Airlines Belgium Embraer E195-E2 with registration OO-ETA, was involved in a ground incident at Málaga–Costa del Sol Airport (AGP), grounding the aircraft for next three days after arrival from Antwerp (ANR) on 04 July via TB1001. The No.1 engine/nacelle of the aircraft was damaged after a ground vehicle hit it on the Apron. Aircraft is airworthy and back to sky as we post this. 📸Credit: Iván Castro Palacios #safety #aircraft

ACMI may sound like a magic aviation spell, but is it really that magical to work as an ACMI pilot? ✨ Let’s have a quick look at some of the greatest advantages of joining this segment as a pilot. 1. Variety & global exposure. Unlike pilots of traditional scheduled airlines, ACMI pilots have opportunities to fly worldwide, including smaller and remote airports, usually accompanied by stunning landscapes. 2. Flexibility & convenience. ACMI pilots enjoy more flexibility in their traveling and schedules than those who fly for traditional airlines, and are often offered a commuting roster. 3. Professional growth. ACMI pilots usually operate under the brand name of the client airline, allowing them to gain experience working for multiple carriers. 4. Continuous opportunities. ACMI operators, due to their nature of supporting airlines year-round, frequently seek pilots to meet demand and provide a lot of room for career advancement. Does it sound interesting? Here’s the good news: Aerviva is constantly looking for ACMI pilots, so make sure you check our open positions now at 👉 https://lnkd.in/dUuFvfUh #Aerviva #Pilot KlasJet Avion Express
