Alongside his fundamental contributions to the rebirth of scientific research in Italy and Europe after the devastation of the second world war, Amaldi committed himself throughout his life to promoting the peaceful use of nuclear energy power and international cooperation for non-proliferation and the ban of atomic weapons. 🌍Fondazione E.
