D365 BC has really stepped out of the shadow of D365 F&O in recent years. Here are some interesting things about the D365 BC employment market: 1) Salaries for BC are now near enough on par with F&O. This was never previously the case with NAV vs. AX. Whilst the average salary across all F&O roles is still a bit higher - this is mainly down to a higher concentration of roles in Solution Architecture and Program Management - both of which are less prevalent on the Business Central side. The average BC consultant can now expect to earn the same as the average F&O consultant. 2) There will always be more BC related jobs than F&O related jobs due to a larger volume of customers. BUT in some markets (Germany being one) demand for Business Central talent outweighs demand for F&O talent by over 30:1. Whilst some may put this down to the fact that Germany is still an SAP dominated market at enterprise scale level which heightens competition for F&O - demand like this is also being seen across numerous other geographies. 3) D365 BC has now been adopted across a much more diverse range of industries than NAV was in the past. The average user base per company has also grown significantly from previous which naturally increases the target market for new prospects. Microsoft are clearly excited about this and continue to add new features whilst BC related add-ons are being churned out in the 100's per month in the AppSource store. #microsoft #d365bc #businesscentral

Here are some key updates: 1.  Additional languages available: Six new languages are now available for user selection in the preferred language list: Spanish (Bolivia), Spanish (Dominican Republic), Spanish (Ecuador), Spanish (Guatemala), Spanish (Peru), Spanish (Venezuela). 2.  Accounts payable - New vendor invoice center: This feature introduces a new workspace that replaces the current Vendor invoice automation workspace. The new workspace provides an intuitive view of the invoices in the different stages of vendor invoice processing. 3.  Accounts payable (Invoice capture) - Document type settings for transferred invoice document from Invoice capture: This feature lets customers decide which document type to apply to documents that are transferred from Invoice capture. 4.  Accounts payable (Invoice capture) - Support the transfer of default financial dimensions on the header of cost invoice: This feature copies the default financial dimensions (Business unit, Cost center, and Department) that are transferred from Invoice capture and appear on the header of cost invoices. 5.  Accounts payable - Adding purchase order’s requester and orderer as the invoice approver: In typical purchase order invoice processing, if there’s a discrepancy between the invoice and postings, the purchase order requester or the orderer must be added to approve the invoice after the purchase order is corrected in the workflow.
