I greatly enjoyed chairing a Best Practice Workshop of the Constructing Excellence 'Gold Standard' Task Group last week exploring: - Features of the five successful Gold Standard Verifications - Gold Standard case studies that illustrate improved value and reduced risks - Challenges for clients when applying Gold Standard recommendations - Machinery for strategic working with tier 2/3 supply chain members - Improved payment practices and management of insolvency risks - Development of Gold Standard training. Thanks for the invitation to join the best practice workshop Professor David Mosey CBE and Alison, it was really valuable to bring together the organisations that have achieved Gold Standard to date and look at future opportunities for further collaboration through Constructing Excellence and the gold standard task group. I look forward to continuing to work with you all in the coming months.
