Please join Travel Sentry to support the Room to Read Educator Shortage Campaign. The UNESCO-Teacher Task Force’s global report reveals an urgent need for 44 million primary and secondary teachers worldwide by 2030. This includes a demand for seven out of ten teachers at the secondary level and a need to replace over half of the existing teachers leaving the profession. However, in the rush to fill this gap, many countries are lowering standards, leaving new teachers with minimal training. Teacher shortages are a global issue and are prevalent in developing nations. Without concerted efforts, chronic shortages of qualified teachers will continue to deny millions of children the fundamental right to education for decades. Room to Read trains teachers and librarians in literacy and library best practices and provides ongoing support from literacy coaches. Join us in supporting this crucial work to ensure all children have quality educators. Act now and make your donation count even more. For a limited time only, if you donate now through to June 30, your contribution will be matched by the Varkey Foundation, effectively doubling your impact: https://bit.ly/4bCeC0Z #EducationForAll #SupportTeachers #RoomtoRead #GlobalEducation #LiteracyMatters #VarkeyFoundation

In 2023, the Global Education Evidence Advisory Panel (GEEAP) released a report on “smart buys” in education, a rigorous, evidence-based analysis of great buys, good buys, and bad buys in education aimed at increasing school participation and improving learning outcomes globally. While providing inputs alone isn’t as effective, Shasha Network has a robust approach to improving learning outcomes in sub-Saharan Africa, striving to eliminate the crisis of learning poverty. Did you know we’re strengthening public education in Cambodia? Investing in public education brings immense social benefits. Research shows that children who receive quality education are more likely to secure stable incomes, maintain an adequate standard of living, have stable families, and become active, productive members of society. Last year, your support enabled 1,549 students across four public primary schools in Village Hive Communes to receive a higher quality education through improved infrastructure, equipment, human resources, and curriculums. This end of financial year, consider investing in Cambodian students and the public school system, shaping the future of countless lives. Kindness Starts Here! We collect and distribute teaching and school supplies to schools in Africa. Children in Africa are in dire need of school supplies. Join us in providing quality supplies and supporting education. Unfortunately, not everyone has access to the resources they need to succeed academically. Donating school supplies plays a crucial role in bridging this gap and setting the stage for brighter futures. Having the proper tools contributes significantly to a student’s ability to engage in the learning process. Summary: By helping today to provide books and school supplies, you are helping to increase the quality of the education that children receive. This will have a long-lasting impact on their lives. There is no greater gift that we can give to the next generation. The Kumba foundation works directly with underprivileged children by catering to their needs of education and overall development. learn more- ↘️ https://lnkd.in/dkKS9WE

Why We Chose the Motto “Hand in Hand We Learn” for Empathy High School As we embark on the journey of building Empathy High School, a beacon of hope where vulnerable children will soon access quality high school education, we've chosen the motto "Hand in hand we learn" to encapsulate the essence of our mission. Although the school is still under construction, our vision is clear: Education is a collective effort that fosters understanding, empathy, and conflict resolution. This motto embodies the unity and collaboration we're cultivating between students, teachers, and the community to create a safe and inclusive environment where differences are celebrated and resolved through open dialogue and mutual respect. At Empathy High School, Vulnerable children will find the support they need to thrive, and together, we'll overcome the barriers to education and build bridges of understanding. While our school takes shape physically, the spirit of learning hand in hand is already alive, empowering us to navigate conflicts with compassion and wisdom. Together, we're building a foundation of hope, opportunity, and peace for every child. Share the 💗 today and partner with us to find life-changing solutions for refugees, like education: $20 supports a child for one term of Elementary School Education $20 supports a child for one term of Middle School Education $30 supports children aged 3 to 5 for one term of Early Childhood Education For Latifa (pictured), school is about so much more than learning. “Being at school the whole day, I don’t have to worry about everything at home. There are some times when we don’t have enough food to cook. When I am at school, I don’t have to worry about food, about family, or anything like that. All I have to worry about is my studies.” At school, refugee children are able to rebuild critical support systems (teachers, mentors, coaches) that they may have lost. School also allows children to integrate into their new communities by learning new languages and developing new friendships. Donate today ➡️ https://buff.ly/42CslS1
