'Don't be tempted to accept a counter offer' 'WHY????'🤔 It can be hard to turn down a counter offer because you may feel like you are leaving something on the table. However, it is important to consider the reasons why you decided to move on in the first place before you accept one. Accepting a counter offer can be a short-term solution that doesn't solve the long-term problem 🤷♂️. Your employer may have only offered you more money this time around and not addressed the other issues you might have had. It could also be a sign of distrust from your current employer 🤔. Accepting a counter offer could lead to a lack of commitment from both you and your employer going forward. Finally, you may find that you have already burnt bridges 🔥. Your current employer may not have taken kindly to your decision to move on and may have already replaced you or taken steps to replace you. It's important to consider all of the reasons why you decided to move on in the first place before you accept a counter offer 💭.
