Recruitment Consultant | Corporate & Executive Recruitment | Helping Central Coast candidates find their purpose and not simply settle in a role they don't love
Have you ever thought about how crucial relationships are in recruitment? I’ve had the pleasure of working with Surovi for nearly 12 months now. From day one, she’s been a reliable and standout candidate. What started as a simple professional connection has turned into a meaningful partnership. During her time in temporary roles with various #Rarekind clients, we’ve built a strong rapport that makes our collaboration not just effective but genuinely enjoyable. Surovi’s dedication and skill are second to none, showing just how powerful a solid relationship can be in delivering great results. For me, recruitment isn’t just about filling positions; it’s about understanding and supporting both candidates and clients. Strong connections create trust and open doors for success. I’m grateful for the journey we’ve shared, and I’m excited for many more successful placements as we navigate the search for Surovi’s perfect permanent role (we’re definitely playing the long game here!). How have your relationships influenced your professional journey? #Recruitment #CandidateRelationships #BuildingConnections

CEO at Pitcheers - Working with the best talent in Latam - Empowering Professionals and Building Future-Ready Teams
Being a good recruiter is only for some. If job seekers are going to spend their time talking to you, they need to see value and trust you. They don't want to start a never-ending process for a job they aren't interested in. The hiring manager must trust that you will solve their problems rather than take their time. They want to meet the right people. A good recruiter means, first of all, WANTING to add value to these people and, second, having the capability to perform at a high level. Generating trust and creating value takes time, so patience and persistence are vital to becoming a high-performing recruiter.

There are many fish in the sea... Just like there are plenty of talents in the market! However, there will always be various factors that affects whether you get your "right catch". 1. If you're just throwing the rod and waiting for the fish come to you, chances are of the 20 applications you receive, maybe only 1-2 are suitable, and even then they may not tick all the boxes. 2. When you access job sites, you may get a variety of pre-caught fish - of all shapes, sizes, and experiences; how can you narrow down to filter through them all? 3. Approaching a fish seller, you can check with them - what is in season? What fish do you have more of, and which have been harder to find? Similarly, with recruitment consultants, you can have a more narrow, filtered search, while also understanding who's in demand and what are the gaps missing in helping you find the "right fish". If you've cast your rod but haven't found the right catch, head over to my inbox or drop me an email! Let me help you find the fish for you amongst the sea of talents. #recruitment #talents #candidates #jobmarket #fish

Recruitment Specialist | Partnering with growing businesses 🚀 to help attract 🧲 and secure the very best talent on the market. 🏆
Two of my clients have lost out this week…BIG time! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… ➡️ Good candidates do not wait around for poorly organised businesses. ➡️ Good candidates do not wait around for businesses to ‘see more people’ even though the feedback is that they are perfect for the role. ➡️ Good candidates do not wait around for prolonged, drawn-out interview processes. ➡️ Good candidates don’t accept lowball offers just so the company can save a quick buck. 👉 Here’s some advice: If you interview someone for a vacancy that you know is perfect for your business, do yourself a favour and tell them, hire them, secure them, and recognise their worth...or someone else will - faster than you can say “we have other people to see”. Two clients of mine, this week alone, have failed to move fast enough and have subsequently realised they have missed out on the best person for their job...and it's back to square one. 🚀 Streamline your time to hire. Know what you’re looking for and have the ability to recognise this whether it’s the first or 5th person you meet. Secure the right person for your business before your competitors snap them up. If you need some advice as to how to do this, I am always here to help 😊 ✉️ kristen@isupplyrecruitment.com 📞 01462 337 550

Want to improve your reputation as a recruiter today? 📢 Don’t be a D£&k to candidates. Don’t be a D&&k to clients. Don’t be a D£&k to colleagues. Do what you say you will!! It goes along way in building credibility. 👊🏼

No recruiter should have the right to ask about your job gaps. it's none of their damn business it's only a trick to think anyone with a gap is just lazy or just job hopps from one job to the next. In the end there are many different reason why people have job gaps and you should never explain that to a total stranger like a recruiter.

🔍💼 Top 3 Challenges of Hiring Great Employees 💼🔍 Hiring exceptional talent is the cornerstone of building successful teams and driving organizational growth. Yet, navigating the hiring process comes with its fair share of obstacles. Here are the top three challenges employers face when seeking out top-tier employees: 1️⃣ Volume vs. Quality: The influx of resumes for a single job posting can be overwhelming. Sorting through numerous applications to find the gems that match both skill sets and cultural fit is a time-consuming task. 2️⃣ Passive Candidates: Identifying and engaging with passive candidates – those not actively seeking employment – presents a significant challenge. These individuals often possess desirable skills but may not be readily visible in the job market. 3️⃣ Time and Resources: Conducting thorough interviews, background checks, and assessments demands considerable time and resources. Balancing these demands with other operational priorities can strain an organization's bandwidth. This is where working with a recruiter like myself or a local agency like Express Employment Indy South and Specialized Recruiting Group - South Central Indiana can not only identify the pain points but alleviate them. We know the market around us and not only help you find great talent but provide a consultative approach along the way. If you are feeling this pain then we should chat! Estate Staffing Director at DM Estate Staffing (formerly known as Domestic | Match and Private Chef | Match)
Our jobs are tough! And to be clear, I'm not complaining one bit. I love what I do. But the job of a recruiter is not for the faint of heart. When I was dedicated to a single family in DC for almost a decade, I invested my heart and soul into their well-being, focusing all my efforts on just them. In contrast, as a recruiter, I channel the same energy and commitment, but it's divided among several clients and candidates and my own team. This shift to juggling multiple priority people is a significant change and presents its own set of challenges. It also requires me to be nimble, quick on my feet, organized, proactive, and extremely patient. Patience is hard sometimes, isn't it? What I've realized through my recruiting experiences is that, ultimately, we can't control others. While we strive to place the right candidates in the right positions, individuals ultimately make their own choices. Learning to let go and allow things to unfold naturally is a daily struggle for me, as there's always a part of me that wishes to guide the outcome. For those of you in recruiting, private service, or any other profession, what challenges do you find yourselves facing repeatedly?

Every job we work on as recruiters is "hard to fill". 👉 Some elements of our role are more enjoyable than others - so it feels "easier" 👉 Some processes go smoother than others - so to others, it looks "easy" 👉 Sometimes there's a serendipity of timing and opportunity having a fortuitous "oh hello" - so we assume we just got lucky. There's people far more qualified than myself who can show you all the elements of your role, the years of incremental and gradual improvements in each and every step, and you don't need me to tell you what it takes for you to "show up" every day. From Bartender temps to Boardroom bosses - every role is hard to fill. That's what makes us such a unique and special bunch of people. We do a job that day in and day out is hard. And ironically, part of our role is to make it "look easy" so clients feel supported and candidates stay close. So here we are mid-week, mid-month, end of Quarter targets zooming in fast. Cut yourself some slack. This may not be "rocket science". But it's not easy either! (and hurry up Steven Bartlett - because apparently you're going to save us all!)
