𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤, 𝐚 𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 – 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐕 – last week, 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. The report features data and insights based on 111 verifications of impact management practices for investors managing a combined $234 billion in impact assets under management, or about 20% of the total impact investing market as measured by the GIIN. Key findings from the report: 💡 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐝𝐮𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝟔𝟓% 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐞-𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟒𝟐% 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.  Additionally, a majority of investors (75%) now regularly assess their potential contribution to impact before making an investment. 💡 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 (𝟓𝟓%) 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐄𝐒𝐆 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐬 This trend is likely driven by emerging regulations (i.e., Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation in the EU, and Sustainable Disclosure Requirements in the UK) and heightened expectations for ESG data from LPs, prompting fund managers to emphasize routine post-investment ESG risk monitoring. 💡 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞,  with 35% of verified investors actively seeking data from stakeholders regarding the outcomes they are experiencing. 💡 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐭,with 64% of verified investors having policies or frameworks for this purpose. #GIIN #impactinvestment #impactprinciples https://lnkd.in/eEY7jfaJ
