Pattaya will get its first luxury all-inclusive hotel, Paradisus, a brand owned by Meliá Hotels International. This will also be the first Paradisus resort in Asia. Wonderful to see that Asset World Corporation , one of Thailand's prolific hospitality developers, is trying out new things and new brands. I didn't know anything about Paradisus until now. I like its brand expression: “The destination is now included.” It's the brand's promise that every Paradisus resort is shaped by its location and brings the destination to guests with a curated range of activities inside and outside the hotel, in a setting that's harmonious with the local landscape, all at no extra cost. That should soften a misgiving about all-inclusive, ie, it keeps the money within the house, without benefiting local enterprises much. I think reliable chains are even more mindful of this now, given consumer trends such as go-local and sustainability, which includes tourism's function as supporting local livelihoods. Read more about the pros and cons of all-inclusive here: https://lnkd.in/dSfesq74 The Paradisus in Pattaya will be located in Jomtien. A new Melia hotel will also rise in Pattaya, located in AWC's mixed-use attraction, Aquatique, that will open in December. Paradisus will open in 2028. Interestingly, the resort is huge, with nearly 700 keys, and aims to attract domestic and international meetings to fill up those rooms. And I thought luxury all-inclusive is mostly for leisure travelers. Pattaya has improved tremendously over the years. New attractions such as Aquatique and the all-inclusive offering will increase its appeal further. Palatial hotels are experiencing a significant rise in popularity, particularly among Gulf travelers who seek destinations that blend ultimate luxury with cultural magnificence. As this trend intensifies, creating targeted offerings in these grand establishments is crucial to meet the refined demands of luxury-seeking, culturally-minded tourists. Focus on Personalized Luxury in Palatial Hotels: A key trend in luxury travel is the shift towards highly personalized experiences. Gulf travelers are looking for more than just opulent accommodations; they seek hotels that provide tailored luxury experiences. These often include bespoke culinary offerings, customized cultural tours, and personalized wellness programs. - Customized Service Offerings: Palatial hotels are increasingly tailoring their services to the specific tastes and preferences of each guest. This might include dining experiences that cater to specific dietary needs or preferences, guided tours that explore local heritage, or spa treatments rooted in regional traditions. - Integration of Local Culture: To further personalize the experience, many palatial hotels incorporate local culture into their offerings. This can range from interiors that reflect local art and architecture to experiences that allow guests to immerse themselves in the local heritage and customs. The focus on personalization not only enhances the exclusivity of the palatial hotel experience but also significantly boosts guest satisfaction by aligning the services with their personal preferences and cultural interests. This tailored approach is expected to define the future of luxury travel for Gulf travelers, as they increasingly seek destinations that offer not just privacy and opulence but also a deep, personalized engagement with the destination. #LuxuryTravel #PalatialHotels #PersonalizedLuxury #GulfTravelers
